Account & Profile
In this article
Your app account and your shop account are two separate things. The one you made at checkout on voltrahealth.com won't sign you into Q Watch Pro, and vice versa. If the app is telling you your details are wrong, that's usually why.
Creating your account
- Download Q Watch Pro from the App Store or Play Store.
- Open it and choose Sign up.
- Enter your email address and set a password.
- Confirm your email if you're asked to. Check your junk folder if nothing arrives within a few minutes.
- Fill in your profile, then pair your device.
Make the account before you try to pair. The app needs somewhere to put the data, so pairing without an account doesn't work.
Your profile details
The app asks for your date of birth, sex, height and weight. These aren't optional extras - several of the figures you see are calculated from them rather than measured directly. Heart rate and steps are measured. Calorie burn is worked out using your profile. Put in rough numbers and you'll get rough results.
Update your weight when it changes meaningfully, since your calorie figures are built on it.
Changing your details
Open the Me tab, then Profile. Change what you need and save. Existing readings aren't recalculated - the change applies from that point forward.
Forgotten password
Tap Forgotten password on the sign-in screen and follow the email. If it doesn't arrive, check your junk folder, and check you're using the address you actually signed up with rather than the one you ordered with.
Signing in on a new phone
Install the app, sign in with the same email and password, and your history comes down from your account. Then pair your device to the new phone.
Your Voltra holds one connection at a time, so unpair it from the old phone first or it'll keep reconnecting to that one. Sync on the old phone before you switch, otherwise anything still sitting on the device that hasn't synced is lost.
One account per person
The Voltra Pro and Voltra Air are worn by one person, so they want one account each. Two people sharing an account will get their readings mixed together, and the calculated figures will be based on whoever's profile is saved.
If you've both got a tracker, set up a second account on the other phone. It's free and there's nothing to transfer between them.
Your data
Your readings sit on encrypted servers and belong to you. We don't sell them, we don't share them with advertisers, and we don't pass them to insurers or employers. There's no subscription because we make our money when you buy the device, not from your data.
Exporting your history from inside the app is something we're building, and it isn't there yet. In the meantime, email customerservice@voltrahealth.com from the address on your account and we'll send you a copy of everything we hold. You have a legal right to that, and we'll get it to you within a month.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and every record attached to it from Me, then Profile, then Delete Account.
Deletion is permanent. Your history goes and we can't get it back, so ask us for a copy first if you want to keep it.
Your device keeps working afterwards. You can carry on using the app as a guest, in which case your readings stay on your phone instead of being sent to us - which also means there's no backup, so if you lose the phone or delete the app, that history goes with it. Creating a new account starts syncing again from that point.
Trouble signing in
- Wrong email. The most common one. People sign up with a personal address and then try to sign in with the one they ordered with.
- Account already exists. If sign-up tells you the address is taken, you already have an account - use Forgotten password rather than making a second one.
- No internet. Signing in needs a connection, unlike syncing, which only needs Bluetooth.
- App out of date. Check the store for an update.
Still stuck
Email customerservice@voltrahealth.com with your order number and the email address you signed up with, and we'll sort it. Don't send us your password - we'll never ask for it, and we don't need it to help you.
